The Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), Mr Parks Tau, has extended the deadline for public comments on the Draft Transformation Fund Concept Document until 28 May 2025, from the original date of 7 May 2025.

The extension by 15 days is informed by a need to give members of the public more time to comment given the importance of the fund that has received a huge public interest. It will also give time to organisations and various structures to consult their members to provide inputs, views and comments that will strengthen the concept.

This is a reminder that, according to the minimum standard for data loads for Professional Bodies, the next compulsory load cycle will commence on 03 April 2025. The final date for submissions from Professional Bodies for this load cycle is 31 May 2025 NO extension will be granted. We urge you not to wait until the 31 May 2025 to submit, as you may encounter errors at the last minute! Please prepare your submission well ahead of the start of the load cycle. Submissions received outside of the official load cycle dates for compliance purposes will be accepted but will not count towards the Compliance League Table. To comply with the minimum standard, you have to submit between 03 April 2025 and 31 May 2025.
