Sworn Affidavit templates as drafted by the dti
(to be signed / stamped by Police Officer or Commissioner of Oaths)
Persons authorized to issue EME Certificates:
1. Sworn Affidavit (self-issued)
2. CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission)
EMEs (Exempt Micro Enterprise, Start-up to R10 million, turnover per annum), Sworn Affidavits by Commissioner of Oaths will be accepted.
QSEs (Qualifying Small Enterprise, between R10 million and R50 million, turnover per annum) that are 51% – 100% Black-owned, only Sworn Affidavits by Commissioner of Oaths will be accepted.
QSEs that have 0% – 50% Black equity ownership, valid B-BBEE certificates are required.
Generic / Large companies (above R50 million turnover per annum) are still requested to submit valid B-BBEE certificates.
